Two Learning Experience Options to Choose From:

Pilgrim to Pioneer Days
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays

Take your students back in time for a memorable learning experience. Our Pilgrims to Pioneers field trip enlightens students to the life of early settlers that founded our country. Students will rotate through learning stations that concentrate on different aspects that are based on Georgia curriculum.

  • The First Thanksgiving and Colonial life
  • The Native Americans (Georgia Creek and Cherokee cultures)
  • Pioneer Life in a Conestoga wagon (the westward expansion of the Oregon Trail and the California Gold Rush)
  • Pioneer Log Cabin
  • Corn grinding
  • Composting (Did you know the Europeans brought worms with them to America?)
  • Farm Animals (Petting Zoo)
  • Georgia Wildlife Station
  • Hay Ride and more!

Add on Opportunity: For $2.00 more per student, Pilgrim to Pioneer field trips can stay, play and learn in our Georgia Grown themed corn maze.

Georgia Grown Corn Maze
Tuesdays and Thursdays
Get lost in learning with this year’s Georgia Grown themed Corn Maze. This field trip combines the navigation of the maze with learning stations along the way that relate to the maze theme. In addition, there is a corn grinding station that gives students the opportunity to make their own ground corn.
